Joy Kauffman is passionate about health, hunger, and healing in the global body of Jesus Christ and the world. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from both Johns Hopkins University with a Masters in Public Health and from Virginia Tech with a BS in International Nutrition.

Ms. Kauffman was Presidential Management Fellow with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and continued in Federal service for six years. She has worked internationally and domestically as a volunteer with several NGOs including Mennonite Central Committee and USAID’s Farmer to Farmer Program. She is also a graduate of the National Soy Research Laboratory International Soy program, a certified CREATION Health Instructor and a Master Gardener through the University of Illinois.

Mrs. Kauffman is the founder of FARM STEW International, a recipe for abundant life. FARM STEW is a registered not-for-profit 501c3. FARM STEW is lead by teams of local African Christian leaders designed to confront the root causes of hunger, disease, and poverty.
